Pair of vintage miniature Navajo rug weavings. These are very finely woven rugs woven by the Bia and Brown Families of weavers, that have been famously weaving these small rugs for at least 3 generations on the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona near Canyon de Chelly these 2 families of weavers use miniature looms and very-very finely spun wool to craft these rugs. The wool is re-spun into threadlike yarn and most of the colors are natural wool or vegetal dye.
