Antique Metis Indian or Assomption Sash associated with Northwest fur traders and explorers in the 1700 and 1800s woven both at L'Assomption Canada and by Metis Indians in the Northwest US and Canada. This sash has light fading on one side but appears unworn and mostly stored away since new. 8" in from one edge has a small hole. 
 
Size 136" including fringe, 87" sash only, it 8 1/2" wide.
