Antique Metis Indian or Assomption Sash associated with Northwest fur traders and explorers in the 1700 and 1800s woven both at L'Assomption Canada and by Metis Indians in the Northwest US and Canada. Fringe is worn any both ends. This is the most Finley woven sash in our collection. 
 
Size 88" including fringe, 77" sash only, it 7 1/2" wide.
