Antique Navajo wedding ceremonial used basket. This wedding basket c1900-1920s is a nice traditional dish-shaped basket used in wedding and healing ceremonies. A traditionally woven basket with the white inner to outer path facing the end of the outer edge so the path can face east in a dark hogan ceremony. It has a cotton plugs at the center to hold the ceremonial corn pollen. This often used basket has a worn bottom from the sand floor in the Hogan ceremonies. It has some missing stitches on the back and on the rim.
