This nice older butterfly with multi-color wings wicker Hopi plaque basket from Second Mesa dates to c1950s when it was purchased it at Hopi. This basket has very fine warp and weft stitching, it is one of two most finely stitched wicker baskets from our collection. The multi-colored plaque is slightly faded on the front side but we have had it stored away.
