This rare charming Hopi basket plaque from Second Mesa dates to c1980s. The plaque is a rare example of a weaver portraying the Palhik "Katsin Mana" with both the form and design of the basket. The multi-colored plaque incorporates white, black, green, yellow, violet and red dyes.

 

The weaving measures 12" height and 10 3/4" width, and is in good overall condition, and has been stored away since bought.
