This very tightly and finely woven whirlwind design wicker Hopi plaque basket from Second Mesa dates to c1989 when we purchased it at Hopi. It has an orange sun center and a bright turquoise, orange, yellow whirlwind and a black and white Hopi dance sash edge. The multi-colored plaque is slightly faded on the front side but we have had it stored away.
 
The weaving measures 8 1/4" x 1 3/8"
