This vintage Navajo pictorial wedding basket set is woven by famous Black Family weaver Sally Black. The olla depicts hunters, Yeis and animals and is 14" high x 12" at the shoulder. The plaque is a double wedding basket design with brightly colored people celebrating the hunt 18 1/2" x 2". Sally Black is the most famous and innovative weaver of the Black Family. Purchased on the Navajo Reservation in the mid-1990s. It is in nice as woven condition and a slight honey patina to the background.
