Vintage earlier turquoise & silver cluster pin. These pins are cherished by older Navajo women and known as "grandmother pins". The center stone is the grandmother, and the other rows of stones represent generations of children and grandchildren. 3 rows of hand-cut good quality turquoise teardrop stones with nice varying dark matrix are set in hand-made, hand-filed bezels, outlined with handmade silver rope, silver balls and doomed silver half-moon pieces. Signed "E Wilson" on a soldered-on rectangular plaque. Please note that the keeper on the pin is missing. Purchased from Gallup Pawn.
