This Santa Domingo handmade folk art necklace has rare large arrowhead sidepieces and a large bold thunderbird. These were made during the depression from car batteries, turquoise, records, plastic fork tines, and other materials and sold at the Railway Stations to tourists. In general,l the beads are Santa Domingo handmade beads, sometimes graduated. This is a beautiful rare example of Santa Domingo Folk Art.
