This older Santa Domingo handmade folk art necklace was made during the depression from car batteries, turquoise, records, plastic fork tines, and other materials and sold at the Railway Stations to tourists. In general the beads are Santa Domingo handmade beads sometimes graduated. We don't know if the thunderbird originally had more detail on its tail.
