Vintage polychrome Tohono O'odham figurative basket with a Friendship dance surrounded by Pelicans or eagles. Pelicans get blown inland during summer monsoon storms and land on reservation pounds. Nicely woven on the front and back. I purchased it in 1995 and stored it away in a woven condition.
