Vintage Navajo rug in all vegetal dyed wool with traditional Wide Ruins design woven by Mary Ann Roan. Very finely spun wool and detailed design. This rug was collected in the 1950s-60s by Vicki Noe, one of the early single women traders on the Reservation that owned a Trading Post south of Gallup. The rug is hand carted, hand spun, hand vegetal dyed from dyes the weaver collected on the Reservation around her home. Purchased from her personal collection of rugs c1990. She had her rug collection stored away in moth-proof trunks and we have had it stored away in a trunk for many years. The rug is in perfect condition or as loomed (new) condition.Size approximately 27"T x 46"W
